Description
Kallisti cv. is a strawberry variety developed by Berryplasma, characterized by its attractive heart-shaped fruit, medium-large size, and good fruit size maintenance throughout the season.
Based on observations carried out under trial conditions in Huelva, Kallisti began production towards the end of December and showed a relatively balanced production pattern, reaching its highest productivity during the second half of March and throughout April.
The fruit presents a fresh organoleptic profile, with a less sweet and slightly more acidic flavor compared to varieties with a sweeter profile. The plant shows a rustic behavior and good tolerance to soil-borne fungal diseases, making Kallisti an interesting option for growers looking to diversify their production calendar with a later variety.
