FRUITING CHARACTERISTICS

• The position of the flowers above he canopy assures complete pollination, giving consistent fruit uniformity and a low cull rate early in the season.
• Marketable yields are higher than Camarosa and Ventana.
• Enters into production at the same time as Camarosa but later than Ventana.

FRUIT QUALITY

• Galexia (Cal Giant 5) produces uniform fruit with medium red color throughout.
• The flavor is comparable to Galante (Cal Giant 3).
• The fruit is more firm than that of Galante, ships well and has excellent dessert characteristics for both fresh and processing markets.
